Resumen

La posición condilar cumple un papel fundamental en el sistema estomatognático, es el punto de partida que establecerá y delimitará la RC. El objetivo fue comparar la precisión para el diagnóstico de la posición condilar tridimensional mediante el uso de tomografía computarizada de haz cónico vs articulador análogo. Se realizó una revisión sistemática de la literatura mediante la búsqueda de artículos científicos en las bases de datos de PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, LILACS. Se emplearon descriptores de búsqueda en lenguaje controlado y no controlado teniendo en cuenta los componentes de la pregunta PICO. Se encontró información que sustente la importancia de la Posición condilar de forma tridimensional usando Tomografía computarizada de haz cónico o el uso de un articulador análogo. Los hallazgos evidencian la relevancia de evaluar la posición condilar en tres dimensiones mediante CBCT o articulador análogo; sin embargo, existe escasa evidencia comparativa entre ambos métodos.
